Middle of replacing my alternator?

Im in the middle of replacing my alternator and the wire under it with the boot fell off on both ends, I need to know where the end that doesn't have the boot on it goes

Sure, that wire goes down to the starter motor main power lug. Here is the wiring diagram so you can confirm the wires destination. Thanks for the images they help. Make sure the battery is disconnected. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
