Hi guys,

I have been helping a bloke who wants to do the lower ball joints on his town car, i have advised that Mitchell 1 recommends that the lower control arm should be replaced as an assembly, but he still wants to do the ball joints alone, say that it can be done, has anyone done this? can anyone advise him any further on this.

Thanks

Mark in Aus and not a town car in sight here......

You can use the c clamp press and press the old one out and install new ones in using the same tool

Its kinda like asking "what costs more, the tool or the replacement cost of the arms", unless the tool is going in my tool box. lol
