Hi blokes,

Working through a problem with a donation question, he has asked how to get to the rear plugs on a 87 Buick century V6, as you can imagine this is not something we do down here, I am presuming it is an inlet manifold off like so many V6 rear plugs, any help would be great.

Mark in a Buick free world.

Hi, One of my vehicles out front is an 88 chevy v6, probably the same engine. The only problem I have is figuring the best way to get my arm back there. It would help if I had another joint between my elbo and wrist. If the alternator is on backside of engine toward the firewall, sometimes I remove the alternator and bracket, gives me more room to get my in there from the passenger side. If fooling with alternator, remove negative battery cable. I have hear of some people rotating the engine forward, to get at plugs, I haven't done that. Have a good evening or day. Jack
