I took my car to the shop because the "check engine" light was on. They told me that the brake booster was missing. I wanted to know.
a. Why and HOW would someone steal my brake
booster? And.
b. Is it possible to drive a car for 2 weeks with a
brake booster missing?
Thanks you in advance for your responses. :D

Yes it is possible. It gives you power assisted braking but I would suspect that you might notice a difference in the amount of pressure that you needed to apply to stop the vehicle.
