1999 prelude 159000miles with a 2.2 vtech. Car ran fine the couple of times it started, (just bought it for daughter) tries to start and dumps to much gas on plugs, checked battery, fuel regulator, changed alternator, everything checks good, throws no codes. Could injectors be bad? They have been cleaned out. Would appreciate any input

You need to determine if it actually is too much gas or just not the necessary spark to ignite and the fuel builds up. When it won't start check the spark. You need a strong blue spark on all cylinders.

JUST WANTED TO UPDATE A LITTLE, PUT THE INJECTORS IN, CAR DIDN'T WANT TO START AT FIRST, FINALLY FIRED AND AT THIS POINT STILL STARTS, DISCOVERED THE RETURN OR BOTTOM HOSE FROM RADIATOR WASN'T GETTING HOT, THERMOSTAT STUCK.
THIS MAY SEEM LIKE A DUMB Q, BUT DOES THE RADIO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE CAR STARTING AND IDLEING?HAS THE FACTORY IN IT NOW, HOWEVER LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN PUT BACK IN. WHY I ASK IS WHEN THE CAR STARTED, IT WAS IDLING REALLY GOOD, WHEN WE CODED THE RADIO BACK IN IT STARTED IDLING TOO LOW! IS THIS SOMETHING THAT CAN BE LOOKED INTO? HELP!
