Were looking into purchasing a 95 trooper w/87,000 on it as a back up vehicle When I test drove it I noticed the clutch was barely off the floor shifts smoothly though. Need to know if the clutch is adjustable or not. Was a slave to last vehicle don't want to spend every other day under another.

After you confirm there is no leaks, re-bleed the system with fresh fluid. If the pedal does not change, then it has a little adjustment you can play with. But it you stick you head under the dash and it looks good, i.E. The pedal comes up far enough to hit the switch, then it probably doesn't need adjustment.

And, just my opinion, if you don't want a patient riddled with car cancer, don't buy the Trooper.
