Driving to and from work today I encountered a problem. Temperature gauge pegged out hot, sputtering when accelerating and no hot air coming from the heater.I had the intake head gasket replaced when I bought the car at 100,000 miles. It is now at 180,000 miles and I don't want to put much money into it if I don't have to. HELP. Is this a job for a weekend mechanic or no?
