93 Tempo harmonic balancer problem

Do I have to pull the engine or can I dropp it down enough to get it off and how. Help.

On most front wheel drives, the Harmonic balancer can be removed by, pulling off the right front wheel & tire, then remove the plastic or rubber apron on the inner fender to gain access. There is a large bolt in the center of the balancer that must be removed, normally you would have to also go to the other side of the engine and remove the flywheel cover, so you can jam the flywheel to keep the engine from turning while you remove the bolt. I find if you have and impact gun (electric or air) with the right socket, this will usually break the bolt free without removing the flywheel cover, ( the trick is to turn the bolt without the engine turning with it). You will then need a puller to remove the balancer. Good luck
