I recently purchased a 1969 mg b gt 4 cyl with a 4 speed manual transmission. It has been sitting for a good 10 years or so. The clutch and brake mastercylinders were dry when I checked them so I added fluid to them both. The brakes built pressure fine but for some reason the clutch wont build pressure. The fluid in the resevoir doesnt even move when you press the clutch in. I also opened the bleed porth on the clutch to see if maybe it had too much air in the lines to allow fluid nothing came out. Thanks for the help

Hi if you haven't fixed this already here is what you need do. First go iunder the car and take the bleeder screw right out of the slave cylinder. Then after you see fluid leaking out make sure the bleeder screw is clean, bleed in a normal fashion. I'm betting that both the master and slave will need rebuilding or replaced though.
