2001 Sable - Crazy Blinker and Cruise going out

Last night for no apparent reason my blinker started blinking in double time, and then this morning I was using the cruise control and it basically turned itself off and I couldn't turn it back on by pushing the buttons on the steering wheel. What's going on?

Whenever anything like this happens, go straight to your fuse box. Not too sure about the blinker, but the cruise control definitely sounds like a blown fuse. You can find the box below your dash next to your driver door, you might have to check the one under the hood, though.

My taurus blinks double time when one of the turn signals is out. My back one was replaced and all is well. For cruise control. Dunno?
