So I buy this bug and it comes with the stock key fob, and the key goes into the fob, well it opened in my pocket and key broke from fob so I got a new fob. Now the key works but the dealer says they are going to soak me for 60 plus to program it in addition to what I have spent on the fob already. Now I know the original 2 year 24 k was up when I bought but didnt expect this much crap in such a short time. How can I program it so it stays running

Looks like there is a pIN code (7 digits) the dealer uses to get into the anti-theft system to program keys and fobs. I would bite the bullet and buy another fob and have them programmed at the same time. Keys can be done one at a time, but if you are paying for 1 might as well have 2 done so if there is a problem later, you have a key and fob for your car
