2000 Ram Van brake lights

The brake lights in my newly aquired 2000 Ram Van do not work. The fuses are fine I have replaced the bulbs. Both blinkers work, which I think is the brake light element. The brake light above the rear doors comes on when the brake petal is engaged, but not the taillight brakelights? Where should I look for the problem now?
Thanks

Donate a few bucks im sure they would help then or. Take out the tail lights and hook up a volt meter to the not working bulb wires to first see if they have any juice. Try to find a wire schematic and follow them back and check periodically to see if they start to get power eventually you will find the problem. Its not easy but seems to be the only way if you have checked all fuses and what not. If you have had anything like a cd player, key less entry, dvd player or camera installed this could have done it also and take it back there and have them fix it.
