Today I changed the battery for the second time since I bought the vehicle. And for the second time it stalls after doing so. Last time I took it to the dealer and they told me they had to reset something. A sensor or a sensor reading I think was what they said at the time. Do you know what they did and is it something I can do myself so I don't have to have it towed to the dealer?

When you replace or un-hook your battery in your Montero afted you replace it or re-connect it all you have to do is turn your ignition forward to aux and them press the gas pedal down all the was to the floor for a couple of seconds. This will re-set your throttle body reading and your Montero Sport will no longer die.
