Hi all I hve a problem with my ldv pilot van when I put it into gear it pulls away but is very jerky as if its running out of diesel yet there is plenty in can change gear but there is very little power

Hi Budgie74,

For diesel engines to lose power, possible causes are :

1. Clogged diesel filter.
2. Air leaks into fuel system to fuel pump.
3. Bad injectors or fuel pump.

Was any repairs carried prior to this happening?
