I have a 95 vw passat GLS that has not been driven or used in about 2 years. I am now in desperate use of this car and am trying to make it run. I know to change the battery however are there other suggestions I should do before I go to use this car?

drain as much gas as you can from the tank and fill it up with fresh gas..... gas tends to go bad after about a year of sitting....also i would reccommend just changing all the filters ie. fuel, air , oil, and check all the fluids ie. coolant, oil
