1995 VW Passat

I have a 95 vw passat GLS that has not been driven or used in about 2 years. I am now in desperate use of this car and am trying to make it run. I know to change the battery however are there other suggestions I should do before I go to use this car?

Drain as much gas as you can from the tank and fill it up with fresh gas. Gas tends to go bad after about a year of sitting. Also I would reccommend just changing all the filters ie. Fuel, air, oil, and check all the fluids ie. Coolant, oil
