1993 Caravan starter problems

My 1993 Caravan, engine 3.0, just had the starter changed. There is battery power and car will start if a screwdriver is put against the cylonoid but the car won't start any other way. What other things can I try to get it running?The mileage is about 150,000.

You need to check if you have voltage from the ignition switch to the terminal on the solenoid. If you don't (you won't) then you need to start eliminating possibilities ie: ignition switch, fuse, neutral safety switch, etc.
