1982 VW Rabbit Convertable under 100,000 miles.

Hi my name is Krystal e acute rabbit that ran for about 2 monts and now the battery ran dead but it is a brand new battery. I have replaced the battery before, and this has happened before but I just recharged it and it was fine but that was about a year ago. Now when I tun the key there is power but the car wont turn over, all I hear is that click click sound. Please help me. I am really racking my brain on this one.

When you hear click click. The battery is very weak. It needs a recharge. Or get a jump and then drive the car all day long to charge the battery. I would suggest that you go to an auto electric shop or a store that has an auto repair stall and have them check your charging system. There is a reason for the death of the battery and they can pinpoint it.
