1992 Seville 138,000 4.9L. Hi. In recent months my check engine light will occatioanlly come on and within an hour or so of driving will go out again. I purchased a scantool and found the check enigine light always comes on with code 0048 EGR Malfunction. Sometimes I run for several weeks without seeing a check engine light. Now today the light came on again and when I read the code to my suprise it was a new one. Code 0046 "Left front to right rear fueling difference". What specifically does that indicate? Could the EGR malfunction and fueling differences be related to the same problem? Any assiance on what specically these codes indicate would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

We must start with the first code for EGR operation failure. This will effect the other code present. First check EGR operation, valve, vacuum hoses. If they check ok look at the passages inside the intake manifold, they can get plugged over the years causing your problem. Let me know.
