I heard water in my dash. It was thermostat housing.I fixed that. It came back. My heater stopped working, no water on my carpet, bone dry.I started hearing popping under my hood when I let up on the gas. The my car wouldn't start. It had a new battery. Then it started leaking coolant while it sat in the driveway overnight. Then battery light came on. And the ABS light came on and the swerve light came on and the water starts bubbling loudly and coming out the cap with in a couple minutes of starting it.I replace the alternator. Car starts. But water bubbling. ABS lights are on, swerve lights, battery light is on. All at one time. All this started happening at once. Before I changed alternator there was a metal grinding. Like a piece of metal stripping being wadded up and tangled type. Car will drive fine. Brakes fine. Starts strong.

Hi,

First, we need to make sure the alternator is charging. Here is a link that shows how it is done:

If the alternator isn't charging, it will cause these other light to come on.

Next, I want you to try something. When the engine is cold, remove the radiator cap and start the engine. Does coolant shoot out from the radiator? I'm asking because the engine can't overheat in a minute if there is coolant in it.

Let me know what happens.

Joe
