Alarm system reset cut my alarm wires?

So I had to cut my alarm wires at the speaker under the hood and now after I reconnected them my alarm system isn’t working

Did you match the wiring up correctly? This will be the number 1 issue. But you motioned a speaker under the hood, is this alarm aftermarket? If you are not sure please upload an image of the system and the remote so I can see what is going on. The factory alarm uses the horn of the car to make the alarm sounds. Please upload an image or a short video in your response
