I am trying to reset fault codes but only one code is not resetting and airbag light is on. B120E1B-Driver airbag release valve igniter-resistance too high. Any recommendation? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Audi does not publish the detail on this DTC because it is related to a safety system and they are allowed to keep it propitiatory with their scan tool.

However, here is the wiring diagram for this system. What this is saying is that there is too much resistance in the N95 portion of this system. This is the igniter.

While you can test this with a meter, if you are not familiar with this system I would not recommend you try this yourself. Not only is this system extremely important but if you happen to apply power or don't remove power while testing, you can deploy the airbag. Not only could this injury you, but it is very costly to repair.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks
