Air not blowing hard

The blower motor blows fine, the cabin air filter has been changed, but the air still isn’t blowing hard. A guy told me to reverse wiring to test polarity but I don’t know which wires to splice.

Good morning,

I posted the procedure below and attached a picture of the location of the blower for you to view.

I would suggest replacing the blower resistor as well. It is right next to the blower motor in the picture.

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector.
3. Remove the blower cooling hose.
4. Remove the screws that secure the motor to the heater/air distribution case.
5. Remove the motor and the seal from the heater/air distribution case by gently pulling the motor straight down and out.
