I am trying to change the air intake hose that connects from the intake to the air filter and connect it to the back of the air intake hose. There is a PVC plastic hose sticking out of the back, and I'm not sure what it connects to.

Sure, that is the engine vent, it will go to one of the valve covers. Do you have some images you can upload so I can be sure?

Yep, that is part the engine vitalization system. Can you show me where it connects to so I can be sure?

Well, that's the thing is that i'm trying to figure out, is it's not connected to anything and I don't know where it goes. It's hard to find.I don't see anywhere where it should go. But I can send you a picture of it inside, all connected. Give me a few minutes and I'll do that

Okay, it looks like the part is melted at the end? Try to get an image of where the end might go.

No, it's not melted at the end. That's a brand new piece that I just bought. But if you look in the picture, the green line underneath the hose is where that plastic piece goes to towards the engine underneath

I've tried to google and look up every which way where that plastic piece would hook up to. But no one has anything about it. Anywhere

Does the end in question have an opening? Can I get a close up of it? Sometimes extra volume in the intake tube cuts down on noise.
