Air condition problems

How would u know if your compressor is low on Freon will the clutch stop working. But what if the clutch is gauged in AC is still blowing out hot air

A compressor clutch cycles but if very low on Freon it won't work or cycle the only way to tell is with a set of gauges to see if proper amount is in the system if compressor works and still not cooling it can be a blend door actuator problem or many other things. Try pulling hvac fuse inside car for 60 seconds it may reset then see if large pipe going into car is frosty or sweating. Then a/c may be up to charge and is something else causing problem.
