Air bag light keeps staying on and brake lights come on intermittendly.

Air bag light keeps staying on. It has done this for over two years now but new legislation in the UK means it needs to be investigated. I did have the RAC look at it but they said there was no problem. Dont know if you have to remove the dash board to investigate or you have a computer check made on. Also I have problem with the brake light not coming on. They say that this could be to do with the wiring. It comes on sometimes

The air bag module would have stored a trouble codes to get the tech started in the right direction

Seat belt latches are a common reason for airbag lights. But a simple scan will tell you what area to look at.

Brake light switches are a common failure item.
