I installed a aftermarket stereo and would like for the stereo to stay on when the ignition is off until I open the door. If you could help me in anyway it would be greatly appreciated.

On cars that have this function, it is controlled via the body control module, to duplicate the circuit would be rather cumbersome affair, I feel that it would not be an easy task, this is more a job for a specialist auto electrician.
