Aftermarket front door speakers 6.5" installation issue

I bought a pair of Boss 6.5" speakers from Amazon that said fit my car listed above. I also bought a pair of PAC NSB710 Speaker Adapter (Nissan), 2 Pack. And I can't get the speakers and the adapters to fit in my front door right. Does anyone know how to do this or if I need to get another kind of adapter like Metra 82-7400 Speaker Adapter for Nissan/Infiniti Vehicles?

Hi,

Are the speakers the same size as the OEM speakers? If they are, you really don't need an adapter. The OEM speaker mounted to the inner door. Is there a reason the new ones won't fit properly?

The pic below shows the replacement directions specific to this vehicle. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions.

Yes, the speakers are the same size. I assumed you had to get an adapter because the old speakers are already connected to an adapter.

Hi,

Are you able to reuse the original adapters? That should take care of the problem unless the new speakers are thicker.
