I have a 93 Acura Vigor 180,000miles w/ 2.5 engine and a automatic 5 speed transmission. When cranking the car, on the dash board the green light around the D4 lights up but then goes out wen the car turns on. There are other days when while im driving in starts blinking. Any ideas to why it does this?

start your diagnose with a scan and report back and fault codes.
