Hi, I was wondering if the problem could be my brakes or axle or any thing else. When I brake going any faster than 35mph my car shakes really bad. It almost feels like the wheels are going to fall off. It was like this when I bought it and was hoping to get help without getting a diagnosis. Thank you

Hello,

This could be due to wrapped rotors. Over time due to wear and tear the rotors can become wrapped. This will cause vibration or pulsation while braking.

The brake rotors can be checked for lateral runout while on the vehicle. This can determine if there is warpage.

I have attached the procedures including the lateral runout test below.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
