I recently purchased a 1996 Acura 3.2 TL with 176,000 miles on it. I hear that you can tell if you need a timing belt if the car starts to buck. One problem.I am not accustom to driving the car so I can't tell. How much does it cost to replace it and what else should I get replaced? (Cost as well)

Most often when a timing belt goes south, it just plain won't start. Occasionally, not very common it may skip a tooth.

Price is relative to the area you are in as well as various factors of the shop's pricing.

I would find out what codes are in the computer to start diagnosing.
