What does it mean when the dealership recommends "lower control arm busings" at next service?

It means your bushings are cracking and it could get worse over time, So they recommend new bushing next sevice.

Thanks for your response.

Is this a big job? The bushing only cost about $10-15. I am guessing there will be a lot of labor costs involved. Will they also suggest I replace the lower control arm? Are these bushings on both sides of the car? If so, should they all be replaced at the same time?

I am just preparing myself for my next visit to the dealership.

It's not a big job, your front suspension has two front lower control arms that holds the knuckle and shock in place. You don't have to replace the lower control arms, the dealer could replace the compliance bushings only. It's better to replace both compliance bushing, they will need to remove the lower control arms and put it on a press machine to press the compliance bushing out to replace it.

Here a picture of the lower control arm components, #8 is the lower control arm and # 10 is the compliance bushing.
