My car just started running extremely rough and the "check engine" light came on immediately after that. I drove for about 10 minutes and noticed an exhaust smell/burning smell. Any thoughts?

Hi golfer1900,

When the CEL shows, an error has been detected by the engine management system and you need a scan to find out what has gone wrong.

Get a free scan done at Autozone or O'Reily's nd let me know the exact error code and we shall see what needs to be done.
