Hi, I was just wondering if someone could help me find out why my power door locks have stopped working and what I can possibly do to fix? The night before I locked my car w/ the remote key and the next morning none of my door locks work. I also noticed that the car does not register to the doors opening and closing and the e-brake lever down. I find it really odd for it to just happen over night. I also think that when I turn my A/C on the compressor doesn't engage. Anyone no what might be the problem?

Wow. That JUST happened to me this morning. Both my locks were working fine yesterday and I locked my car up with the remote and this morning my passenger side wont lock/unlock using either the remote or the door switch ( sorry I dont know what its called). So im stuck locking/unlocking manually, which is annoying, and when I leave it in either position of locked/unlocked and use the switch inside or the remote, it kinda moves but just not enough to move to the opposite of what it is. Hopefully, that made sense. But anyhow, im still doing research to see what may be going on, and I will keep you posted as to what, if anything, I find out. Im just hoping its nothing to catastrophic. Ha.

The problem I'm having, my locks doesn't work at all. They don't even try to move when I hit the lock/unlock button. I'm thinking that it may be a possible ECU problem because my A/C doesn't power up either. Hopefully they will tell me something that doesn't cost me a crap load of money.

Hi,

Looks like a power supply problem for RSXTay. Check the fuse box under hood for loose/bad connections.

As for cassidyinsf, the control unit might be faulty as it is working but not providing enough power to work the actuators.

I've been doing some searching around and I've hear that a device called the Multiplex Control Unit is what would have caused this problem. To make so many things go bad at once. Its located on the fuse box inside the car just under the dash board on driver side. I ordered one on Friday so I'll find out by Thursday if that was the problem. I'll try to get back here and let u no if it worked or not. Thanks a lot guys.

Yes it is the multiplex control unit
you can try this and it worked for me twice
try turning on everything you can in the car ac r window def. Wind up and down all the windows turn on heated mirrors hold in the trip reset button and turn on and off the ignition do this a couple of times and it may reset everything this does not work instantly but for me all was working the next day you can also try disconecting the battery for 1/2 an hour to drain any residual power from the system then try this if the first trick did not work
this problem just came back for me but it was gone for about a year
from I hate my acura1.7el
