1995 Other Acura Models Burning Oil

My mechanic told me that since my car burns oil and alot of smoke comes out of my muffler and I cannot use my car to far places. Is this true? If I go far with the car will the car break down?

Hi there,

You can keep driving the car as long as you make sure that the oil level in the engine is at a safe level, if the engine is burning a lot of oil keep some in the car, but you should do something about fixing it as it will eventually cause you a problem.
