1992 Acura Legend Radiator Light Indicator

1992 Acura Legend 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1992 Honda Lengend. My worry is that the radiator light shows up after driving for a distance, even when the coolant is in the radiator.
I was told my radiator is dirty. But Iam still not convince. I need advice from the professionals.

Hi Osagie,

The coolant level low indicator warning light can be affected by dirty coolant but more likely it is the sensing switch that is faulty, if the coolant level is ok.

Does the light go off after it comes on?

I could be wrong but at least in the U.S there is no low Coolant indicator- unless this existed in the Europe markets only.

Perhaps his battery light came on and he confused it with a coolant light?
