Brakes problem
1992 Acura Legend 6 cyl 183000 miles

I am thinking about trading my 95 trooper for a 92 legend. I always hear that legends are great cars. I sent to see it today and am concerned because the abs light was on. The owner said it was because he tried putting 22 inch rims on the car and it messed up his sensor. Should I be concerned? Does this even sound like a reasonable reason for the abs light being on? Should I run from getting this vehicle?

The ABS does use sensors which are located one on each wheel hub assembly, so yes that does sound very reasonable. ABS is not a necessity though, it is simply added safety feature. If you really like the vehicle and feel its a fair trade than don't let that stop you. Replacing the sensor isn't a long hard task and like I said it isn't even needed to drive the vehicle daily.
