Noises problem
1992 Acura Legend 6 cyl 130000 miles

Just wondering what the ticking or flexing sound coming from under my hood after I shut my car off is? Could it be my intake manifold, or something else?
Is this a problem if it is my manifold?

Also sometimes when im turning my wheel inside of my car, it make a quiet winding sound or like a quiet squeel. Sounds like its coming from the box my steering wheel attaches too. Is this a problem? Thanx for your help yall'! I like your site here.

The ticking/clicking sound is your exhaust making noise from the extreme high temperatures. The same principle applies to a cold house when the wood creeks. When metals expand and contract they can pop or crack.

With regards to your wheel problem. It could be a few possibilities. Does it usually happen when it's cold?
