Brakes problem
1991 Acura Legend 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I feel my brake master cylinder is bad because when I press hard on the brakes, the brake light comes on. Now when I keep the car running I see antifreeze spraying from behind the power brake booster. What does that mean?

Hi kaybeeclair,

I believe the brake fluid level is slightly low, top it up and see if it helps.

As to the anti freeze, there should be some leakage in the cooling system, you need to check where the leak is from and repair it asap.

Check for low coolant level in radiator.

Antifreeze from behind the power brake booster? Are you sure it's not brake fluid leaking from the brake booster? If so your booster may be the culprit to begin with.
