I have a 90 acura legend and when you press the clutch pedal in about halfway down there a loud squealing and sometimes it kills the engine. Does that sound like be a throw out bearing? It only squeals when the pedal is engaging. How far is is safe to drive the car like this?

it sounds like the throwout berring or pressure plate isnt releaseing the clutch disk all the way one day it will go no farther or you will tear up more parts on the way like the syncronisers inside your transmission.
