1988 Acura Legend air conditioning

Air conditioning does not work when I turn on the AC button. When I do turn on the ac button only one of the fans start up. Could this cause the airconditioning to malfunction. Thanks.

There can several things causing AC not to engage from low charge to an electrical fault. Fine an independt shop that specializes in AC repair have then do a diagnosis and estimate of repair.
