I have a Honda Integra 98 1.8 type r and was wondering

I can hear a grinding noise from the engine when I have the on for an hour and when I turn off the car and start it again its still there but when I turn it on when its cold I can't hear it. I just got a new idle air control valve and I don't know what it is can you help?

Which side is it coming from?

It could be an a/c idler pulley if it sounds like it's coming from where the belts are. I'd also check your alternator bearing.

If it sounds like it's from the transmission, then look into an input shaft bearing or clutch kit.
