Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Acura Integra 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I have a Honda civic with the engine of an Acura 1997. When I turn the car on a lot of white smoke comes out of the exhaust I was thinking it was the oil so I changed it but it still throws a lot of white smoke I was thinking it was a blown head gasket but coolant is in the same spot in the radiator and I know if its white smoke it may be water leak in the engine but I wasn't sure. Do you know what it can be?

Hi sergio06,

If the smoke is slightly bluish in color, it is oil burning and replacing the oil won't solve the problem.

Most probably the valve seals needs to be replaced.

If the smoke only appears for a while when the ambient temperature is cold, it should be condensation and nothing to worry about.
