Hi im completely stumped on what the problem can be now. I have a 97 acura integra LS and its a automatic. Ive had transmission problems before and I paid alot of money to have it rebuilt. Its been a year and half since then and my car is acting up again. When you first step on the gas when driving the car is slow when trying to accelerate and has problems shifting either sometimes the car will get stuck and the rpm gauge stays at 2 or the car will shift into over drive for about a couple of seconds and then it kicks itself out and shifts gears. I dont know what the problem is since ive already had it rebuilt.

Hi crazydragon_2007,

Thank you for the donation.

The symptoms described seems to be a fault with the engine controls rather than the trans.

False signals are being sent from engine to trans ccontrol in the PCM. I would suggest gettting the vehicle on a diagnostic machine and the main item to check for data accuracy should be the Throttle position sensor and O2 sensor.

I have encountered O2 failures that does not show any codes on normal scanners but a dignostic test shows it to be faulty.
