Electrical problem
1997 Acura Integra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I did an engine swap recently and had it running fine. My cel was coming on so I checked the codes and came up with a knock sensor problem, after wiring it I started my car and had high idle, so I cleaned the throttle body out and put on a new gasket. Started it up again and now my car wont rev past 2600 RPM, its idle is between 900 to 1100 which is fine but I dont know whats putting the car in limp mode. I read the codes and it came up with the throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, and MAP sensor. So the question it which of those three is causing the RPM problem?

You mixed up the MAP and TPS connectors. Every guy who tries his own swap does it. They are the same connectors.

The IACV is probably a faulty valve.

I did that the first time I did the swap, ended up being a loose wire to the plug itself on one of the plugs to the intake mani. Fixed that and now car revs all the way up, idle problem came back so I ordered a new tps sensor to see if that is the issue, waitin on it to come in now. Thanks for the reply though.
