Theplactic outer lenses on the projector assemblies is dull and had fine cracks and scratches in them which decreases the effectiveness at night. I can polish them with scratch remover and they work good for awhile until I have to do it again. I'd like to replace them but I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd like to try to do it myself if possible. I know the front bumper is going to need to be removed but I have little auto body knowledge or know anyone who does. How difficult is it to remove the front bumper in order to do this.

Front bumper is very basic to remove.

You have a bolt/screw fastening it to the corner of the fender (one on each side)

i believe two or three bolts on the bottom of the bumper fastening it to the lower rad support. And a few plastic clips on the top of the bumper.

If you can't end up getting the housing out to replace them--there is an alternative. When I first got my integra, the headlights had the typical thick yellow haze, and I removed it pretty easily with a bit of toothpaste and scrubbing but it kept coming back. I found this product called FW1 performance wax and it's completely harmless to the surrounding paint and even can be used like a spray-on wax that also cleans. I buffed my headlights just from the outside two months ago with this stuff, and they went from the yellow haze to crystal clear and never went back. Not trying to push a product here, but the stuff worked great and saved me from spending $70 a pop on new headlight housings.
