1995 Acura Integra Tapping Noise

I bought the car from one of my friends. He raced the car with pretty much no oil in it. And now the engine makes a loud tapping noise when the car is idling and gets worse when the car is driven. The engine is a DOHC VTEC B18C1. Thanks.U guys are awesome!

Hi there,

If you have not already, change the oil & filter and use a good quality engine flush, check the valve clearances as well, i would also check that the oil pressure is ok at hot idle, start here. Valve clearance info below.
