I recently bought this 94 integra and it was slightly wrecked in the front end. (The guy said he hit a guard rail)he said the reverse worked up in till he hit it and now when you go to shift the car into reverse it will not go back all the way into the gear. It acts as if something is blocking it from going all the way back, there is no grinding noises neither. All the other gears it goes into fine, no grinding the clutch is in good condition, doesn't slip or anything. I also noticed there is a maintenance required light that is on and I don't know if that has anything to do with it not going into reverse or what if you could help me that would be great, thanks

There are two shifter cables one must be a little off since the accident, Here is a diagram to help you get the problem fixed.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers
