My car slightly shakes when I take off but is ok at high RPM's. Another thing it does is (for expample) if I was going 35 in 4th gear and try to accelerate 1/4 throttle, it still shakes (hesitates) is it vaccume, fuel, air? Also when I come to a complete stop sometimes, my idle rises from 750 to 1500 than back down for about 10 seconds than idles at 750 as normal........any ideas?

Hi OkeeDoke,

The hesitation could be due to bad spark plugs or wires. It is misfigint causing the hesitation and couls also affect the surging.

The other possibility of surging would be :
1. Insufficient coolant in system
2. Vacumn leakages.
3. Faulty/dirty IAC.
