Types of callipers, i know two major types. Floating or sliding and fixed callipers. I'm in UK doing the NTTA exam and they had a question.

Which one of the following is not a type of calliper?
A. Sliding
B. Swinging
C. Expanding
D. Twin piston

A. Sliding or fixed can be twin piston single or more, C. Expanding i believe they mean fixed also can be single or twin pistons or more. B.Swinging no i dear.

C is the odd one out as far as I know. I haven't heard of swinging.

Exapnding type was on a chysler product in the fifties:
