The lumbar support lever came off after the metal clip holding it in place came out. The clip goes into these two slots on the lumbar lever, but also has to go around a grove in the bolt (towards the bottom) on the seat that the lumbar lever goes on to. The pictures I attached should help - when i put the metal clip thru the lumbar lever, I can't get it onto the bolt. What am I doing wrong??? The pictures attached may help.

I really appreciate the photos it makes things much easier I wish everyone would do that, the problem you're having is the clip is no good, it has been stretched out, you can go to your local parts store in the help section and they sell them, take the old clip with you so you can match it up, or you can try to re bend the clip, the ends of the clip it needs to be closer together.

Okay listen to me very closely, there are two slots in the handle looking again at your photograph you only have one side of a clip installed correctly in the slot, the clip needs to go completely around and in the two slots and each side of the clip in each slot, does that make any sense? I'm having a hard time explaining it to you, all I can tell you is the way you have it in your photograph is incorrect.
